Hello,
I recently deleted "/var/log/boot", and then did a "touch /var/log/boot". However, I have rebooted multiple times and the log remains empty. Does anyone have ideas where I could start looking for solutions to this problem?

I no longer have a /var/log/boot although I remember having one, what does its presence depend on?
