*Maybe* AWS storage might be cheaper if you're going to throw the data away eventually - but the costs of getting 100TB in here might be considerable in data transfer fees. Something like a second hand HP tower server - say a Z440 - and 7 x 18TB drives (to allow for failure - LVM is lovely when it works, but not when a drive fails - LVM over RAID 10 is much better) is going to be expensive in terms of disks but reliable and reusable.
