Hello, i'm finally going to replace the cables of my LAN with a wireless solution. Now, the cable modem is connected to the gateway server's eth0, eth1 is connected to a hub where the client pc's are connected too. I want the exact same setup but wireless. Would this work (all material dlink):
1. Hook up a DWL-G810 Wireless bridge on my cable modem and hook another wireless bridge to eth0 of the gateway server replacing the long cable between the cable modem and eth0. (both connection via ethernet cable). 2. Change hub by a DWL-2000AP thus connecting the WAP to eth 1 of the server (via ethernet cable) 3. Change network card by DWL-G520+ All pc's would have to connect to the DWL-2000AP so the server still acts as a gateway. The reason why i would want 2 wireless bridges is that i can avoid messing with drivers. I don't think i will need drivers for the accesspoint. So only the network card could be a potential problem in Linux Any comments on this setup? Thanks, Benedict -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
