You can switch from the graphical terminal to a command line terminal by
entering `<Ctrl> + <Alt> + <F2>` and switch back to the graphical terminal
with `<Ctrl> + <Alt> + <F7>`

The `top` command will show you what processes are using the CPU and RAM.
