Three items to take into account: * Your machine will (AFAIK) only publish services you explicitly allow. For example, pulseaudio requires the installation of a specific module and cupsd rquires printer sharing to be explicitly enabled. * The services offered by other machines on the network need not be accessed. * It is assumed your machine is on a network that is regarded as trusted.
