Hi, I was unable to install Grub. Via ‘rescue mode’ of installation cd, it doesn't make me do it; takes me to the partitioning window. Then I did a reboot which gave me a screenshot error: file ‘/boot/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod’ not found.
On: grub rescue>ls (hd0) (hd0,gpt8) (hd0,gpt7) (hd0,gpt6) (hd0,gpt5) (hd0,gpt4) (hd0,gpt3) (hd0,gpt2) (hd0,gpt1) By giving ls command to each partition only (hd0,gpt6) and (hd0,gpt8) are given as ext2 filesystem (the other as ‘unknown’ filesystem) Then, to know more, I gave the following commands: grub rescue> ls (hd0,gpt6)/ ./ ../ lost+found/ home/ etc/ media/ vmlinuz.old var/ bin usr/ sbin lib lib32 lib64 libx32 boot/ dev/ proc/ root/ run/ sys/ tmp/ mnt/ srv/ apt/ debootstrap/ initrd.img.old vmlinuz initrd.img grub rescue> ls (hd0,gpt6)/boot ./ ../ config-5.10.0-9-amd64 vmlinuz-5.10.0-9-amd64 efi/ System.map-5.10.0-9-amd64 initrd.img-5.10.0-9-amd64 Now I don't know how I can do to continue and if this datas can be useful to solve Francesco
