I am hearing noise (like white noise) with a new MOTU M2 usb. The unit works properly with Window$7Pro. The noise occurs on three desktop machines, but varies with Debian version (tested on Debian 9, 10, & 11). On Debian 10, a one-second burst of noise is heard about every ten seconds. On Debian 9, the burst may be several seconds in duration, and is heard every 20 to 60 seconds.
