Fashions change by the week, customs change by the decade, human psychology changes by the tens of millennia. It would have been the same in Christ's day. The IT world is admittedly a bit different, a higher proportion of us generally want to learn to fish. It is safe to include anyone who wrangles a Linux distribution among those. Many people explicitly ask 'how do I troubleshoot XXXX', or 'where can I learn about XXXX' rather than 'how do I fix XXXX'. -- Joe
