Slightly off topic but I have a similar problem with a USB Digital Voice 
Recorder from Radio Shack. It recognizes that it's hooked up to the 
comp, but that's as far as I can tell that anything is going on. Will 
Debian have recognized this as a mass storage device (it stores the 
audio in .wav format if I'm not mistaken) or do I have to do some 
really funky stuff? All my USB devices are going through a USB Hub, 
btw.
