Hi,

I am using Debain Sarge with mozilla:
$> COLUMNS=50 dpkg -l mozilla
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
|/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name Version Description
+++-==============-==============-============================================

ii mozilla 1.5-3.he-1 Mozilla Web Browser - dummy package

when I try to print a webpage to a ps file, it hangs and does nothing.

The last few lines of "strace mozilla" command are:
gettimeofday({1071688070, 319508}, NULL) = 0
gettimeofday({1071688070, 319568}, NULL) = 0
read(4, "\372", 1) = 1
gettimeofday({1071688070, 319700}, NULL) = 0
ioctl(3, FIONREAD, [0]) = 0
poll([{fd=3, events=POLLIN}, {fd=14, events=POLLIN}, {fd=4, events=POLLIN, revents=POLLIN}], 3, 295) = 1
gettimeofday({1071688070, 525248}, NULL) = 0
gettimeofday({1071688070, 525588}, NULL) = 0
write(7, "8", 1) = 1
kill(1145, SIGRTMIN) = 0
gettimeofday({1071688070, 526762}, NULL) = 0
gettimeofday({1071688070, 527084}, NULL) = 0
gettimeofday({1071688070, 527370}, NULL) = 0

What could be going wrong, any suggestion?

Here is my gs and gv info if it helps:
$> COLUMNS=50 dpkg -l gs gv
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed
|/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name Version Description
+++-==============-==============-============================================

ii gs 7.07-1 The Ghostscript Postscript interpreter
ii gv 3.5.8-30.2 A PostScript and PDF viewer for X using 3d A

I haven't ever been able to print anything to file with this method btw.

thanks,
->HS

Here is some more info:
1) Whenever I try to print something (to a ps file), a 32768 bytes long file is creates.
2) When i try to open that file, this is the error thatI get in Ghostscript messages window that gv opens:
Error: /syntaxerror in -file-
Operand stack:
unicodeshow
Execution stack:
%interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval--

er ... does this have to do something with unicode? Is it the fonts? Any idea?
