Do you specifically require a command line interface, or just a text one? They are not the same thing. If the latter use a text browser such as Lynx. If the former perhaps the -c and/or -o options for apt-cache might be interesting. -- John Hasler jhas...@newsguy.com Elmwood, WI USA
