Re: screen doesn't lock anymore when lid closed

I also tried adding HandleLidSwitchExternalPower=lock and now i have commented 
both out and made a new file /etc/systemd/logind.d/lidswitch.conf with:
HandleLidSwitch=lock
HandleLidSwitchExternalPower=lock

rebooted and it still is ignored.
