I have FF 75 downloaded from www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ Unpack and run, no installation needed. Menu > Add-ons > Extensions Here's a screenshot: https://ibb.co/ZfC15rp I wonder what that 'external app' could be, I am not aware of any.
