Other then having your profile not accessible, that's I can offer. Given the situation you are in, I would try drastic mesure though: $ apt-get --autoremove purge firefox firefox-esr If I were you, I would look at finding a way to place my order rather then to try to fix the above, being a VM or reinstalling Debian from scratch. -- John Doe
