For bleeding edge hardware, you might need a newer kernel than is provided in stable/testing intaller: Try use daily/weekly development snapshots of debian installer, and may try install unstable or include experimental. You might not want to then _use_ an unstable or experimental system, but if install succeeds then at least you know what to eagerly await stabilizes enough for your more reliable use.
