It hardly needs *that* much documentation and agony. wooledg:~$ ls -la .mozilla/plugins/ total 32504 drwxr-xr-x 2 wooledg wooledg 4096 Sep 16 08:32 . drwx------ 6 wooledg wooledg 4096 Sep 10 2018 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 16634472 Aug 26 20:39 libflashplayer.so -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 16634472 Jun 21 19:02 old.libflashplayer.so.old Just extract the tarball, find or create this plugins directory, and drop the lib*.so file into it. Then restart Firefox. The hardest part is when they ask you whether you want the "NPAPI" version or some other crazy acronym version, and there's no links or popups or any other documentation on the site that tells you what "NPAPI" or the other thing means, and you have to guess. wooledg:~$ ls -lart Downloads/*flash* -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg 1000 8995580 Jun 1 2017 Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64.tar.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 9002947 Jul 24 2017 'Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64(1).tar.gz' -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 9024091 Nov 15 2017 'Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64(2).tar.gz' -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 9047129 Sep 28 2018 'Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64(3).tar.gz' -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 9046020 Mar 15 2019 'Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64(4).tar.gz' -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 9051565 May 16 08:55 'Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64(5).tar.gz' -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 9052736 Jul 9 15:05 'Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64(6).tar.gz' -rw-r--r-- 1 wooledg voice 9053852 Sep 16 08:31 'Downloads/flash_player_npapi_linux.x86_64 (1).tar.gz' Pain in the ass, is all it is. Kronos should be god damned ASHAMED of themselves for continuing to use this crap.
