Which as you might guess, I would do. But this county seat village has no
commercial busses. Too small. The senior center has a van or two for the
shoppers living in small apts without personal wheels. Generally we
take care of our own. When I married this lady 30 years ago this Dec
2nd, we were both working, me as the Chief Engineer of the local CBS
affiliate, she as an elementary music teacher who moved her classroom in
her car 2 to 4 times a day to the various schools around the county, so
our combined income was impetus to replace her 30 year mortgage with a 7
year thats been paid off for 20 years. Both vehicles are also paid off.
Not too many can say that. So taxes, utils and maintenance are our
outgoes. Its a nice village to slow down and eventually end in.
Recommended by grandpa Gene if you are looking for a place to
retire.. ;-)
