Tom, look at /etc/apt/sources.list and see what it says. if there are lines in there with buster or stable on them then you should already be all set up to do an update followed by and upgrade or full-upgrade with apt. (as root or via sudo) i know some people do automatic upgrades so perhaps your system is already up to date, but i can't tell that from here. :) if any of the commands above do strange things or recommend you do something you don't like then don't answer them Y and let us know what is up and someone can lend a further hand. since buster is now stable there may not be any updates to it until some security updates or some point releases happen (i.e. the above commands may not show any thing needing to be done). songbird
