This is probably a simple question, but....
Is there a way to easily determine what version (stable, testing, unstable) the packages installed on a system came from?
I realize that using apt-cache policy allows me to determine it for individual packages but I am looking for a list for all installed packages.
TIA
Lou
apt-show-versions shows the version and status (up to date or upgradeable) for every installed Debian package.
If you don't have it, install it with `apt-get install apt-show-versions'
