Yeah, it's the worst "helpful" error message I've seen in a long time.
I ended up googling the error message, and stumbled across a web forum
post somewhere that had the necessary hint ("use apt instead, and it
will prompt you"). Then I added that to the NewInBuster wiki page, so
hopefully some other people will see it and benefit from it.
