Debian package version numbers are defined (in
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-controlfields.html#s-f-version)
as:

[epoch:]upstream_version[-debian_revision]

Therefore, "2:1.20.3.1" corresponds to an upstream version 1.20.3.1.
