I see signs of this while googling, e.g.
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=20030517173012%2446a1%40gated-at.bofh.it&rnum=6
but in backports.org I don't find it.
Is there a woody backport of mozilla-xft?
Thanks!
Hugo.
So following my own lead ;-) this:
http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/mirrors.evilgeniuses.org.uk/debian/backports/woody/
has backports to libxft2 and mozilla-xft, so now I can go back to woody, the reason I went to sarge 9 months ago is because I thought (wrongly so?) that it did not have libxft2 available to build mozilla with Xft enabled...
Thanks!
Hugo.
