Wow. Why are my initrds only 5MB? I have MODULES=most in /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf. > Grub eats almost 10MB. It could be pruned: there's 4MB of localisation alone, and I'm not sure why the unicode font (1MB) gets placed into both /boot/grub/ and /boot/grub/fonts/. Cheers, David.
