Saw the problem with my own eyes yesterday. Relatively low amount of free RAM (like 64M out of 16G) and a oom killer stack trace containing tcp_sendmsg + some vmxnet3 NICs. Those RHEL kernels are outright broken then it comes to memory management. Reco
