Although it looks like "android phones" are a single type of
computer, they are not. They are much less standardized than
anything you think of as a PC; in fact, there are fewer
differences between a Mac laptop and a Dell laptop than you will
find between two random Android phones. Basically, each one is a
separate porting effort.

they all have varying kinds of encrypted bootloaders; each one
