2.4.18-1 is the security update for 2.4.18. During some update (I think
it was the one that fixed the ptrace bug), the new packages became
incompatible with modules compiled for the old packages, so the
packages were renamed, probably to avoid people from breaking things
automatically.

Btw, does anyone know why the name for 2.4.18-bf2.4 was left unchanged?
