Not a detail, go to apt-get.org and search for unofficial cinelerra debs. There are two links. Add one ( I used http://www.kiberpipa.org/~minmax/cinelerra/builds/sid/ ./ ) to your sources.list and you'll have cinelerra up and running without problems.
