Hi.. I don't know what package you're looking for, am just writing
because it's not clear if you find yourself locked out completely. My
experience here is within Xfce4 desktop manager, but other managers
*might* be similar.

One thing is that *sometimes* the next key over is the on versus the
off of its nearby neighbor. That's not always true, though. I *a-sume*
since you're trying the same key to on/off that it maybe used to work
that way and now doesn't.

An alternative route that again is from within Xfce4: If someone ever
finds themselves locked out in this same way, try ALT+F1 to see if
that brings up your "Applications" menu. After that, arrow keys will
get you to the "Settings > Mouse and Touchpad" option.

That was actually learned on the fly out of desperation while clicking
everything in sight in a grocery store last year. I do it almost daily
now just so I never forget..
