I have just tried your advice. It did not work. I installed the virtualbox repository as described at the Virtualbox homepage. Furthermore, I installed the dkms package.
I tried to install Debian-Testing. The installation process went smoothly. Then after the restart, I just got the messaage, that sda is clean. Nothing else. Then the display started blinking for a while. Then it went all black but after pressing any key, the 'sda' message reappears. Have you ever encountered such problems? What else could I try? Especially, I am wondering why these problems only occur with Debian-Testing. Debian-Stable works. --- Michael
