I "upgraded" yesterday using apt-get upgrade (testing)
within an hour I was thrown off debian-user for excessive bounced mail
(not complaining but just when I needed it most)

I don't want to re-subscribe to the list till I have a proper solution
so please copy to:

Exim passes mail to cyrus ( & it is doing that despite the bounce
messages) & it is sending out bounce messages as shown below.

I have marked the lines I think should tell me something with >>

I have downgraded exim to stable to no effect.

Any ideas :-
a)whats wrong & how to correct it
b)any idea how to get round it temporarily

At present I kill fetchmail then activate exim smarthost to send out a
message. Then kill smarthost & re-activate fetchmail. removing all
external going bounces before & send again.

Mnay thanks

Steve
