AFAIK, synaptics can do tap-to-click too. Perhaps it needs some configuration, though. This is from my /etc/X11/xorg.conf: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "the-touchpad" Driver "synaptics" Option "MinSpeed" "0.5" Option "MaxSpeed" "2.5" Option "CornerCoasting" "on" Option "CoastingSpeed" "10" Option "VertTwoFingerScroll" "on" Option "HorizTwoFingerScroll" "on" Option "TapButton1" "1" Option "TapButton2" "2" Option "TapButton3" "3" Option "TapAndDragGesture" "on" EndSection (it's the configurability why I stay with synaptics: "thou shalt stay away from the knobs" isn't a philosophy which suits me :) regards - -- tomás -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAldQCFYACgkQBcgs9XrR2kaPNACcD8gitfjE1uXy47OoA58n50s3 bAwAn17NIjJKeYGI1o75toe9/szUqmdF =MH+A -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
