1) though stretch finds wireless network card and uses it during
installation, it fails to save necessary files such that a working
wireless networking connection can be obtained after installation
completes and first boot is done,
2) the whole software selection in install is broken no selection I tried
in there completed successfully after passing on package usage reporting
selection making no selection and going with the defaults in package
selection also generated an error statement,
3) the wireless tools package was not installed by default when a wireless
network got selected as primary interface,
That may be how and why the necessary network configuration files did not
get saved but I'm probably wrong about that,
4) radeon firmware failed to install even though nonfree packages got
selected to install
Could it be a hardware detection run ought to be done after the nonfree
packages get selected to find out if any of those packages will fill
otherwise gaping hardware holes left by failing to install nonfree
firmware drivers?
