Your hunch would be correct. The version of Adobe Flash (20.0.0.228)
currently shipped with the latest version of Google Chrome has a few
known vulnerabilities. Adobe Flash is updated when a new version of
Google Chrome is released. 20.0.0.267 (or a later version) will ship
with the next version of Google Chrome.

The current version of Chrome from Google is 47.0.2526.106 which is 19
days old. When a new stable version of Google Chrome is uploaded to
their repository, Chrome and Adobe Flash will be updated with a
standard system update.
