Cindy, if I've understood the original poster, (s)he wants to run X86_64 binaries on a MIPS64 hardware: that'd be "the other way around" to what we are used to. Mehmet: did I understand you correctly? What you've found is very useful in the "normal" case, i.e. you have an X86_64 hardware and want to run MIPS (32 or 64) binaries.
