On the whole people won't reply if they have nothing to contribute. And someone might have fallen over just the solution that is needed without being an expert. I would just ask for help, and leave it to those who reply to decide whether they have enough expertise for the purpose, without demanding experts. ;-) Yes, Nik is always helpful and a great lateral thinker.
