autofs

The only option used in /etc/auto.master is the obvious -o nosuid.

But the options seem to be the same on Debian 7 clients.

Did you have to change the server settings to replicate the problem?

Note that if I do a "touch" on the target before the mv, the problem
doesn't occur.
