Are you maybe looking for something like /var/log/apt/history.log? If you have a lot of upgrade history behind you, there MIGHT also be additional backed up archive files named similar to history.log.1.gz, history.log.2.gz, etc, in that same /var/log/apt directory. If that does NOT exist on your system for any reason, maybe someone else knows of an alternative route to the same information. Hope you find what you're looking for there.
