Thats why we have wikipedia and google. I am sure both have it well covered. Its a decade old and its not a secret. Its history I have not forgot, or forgiven Sony for. Fortunately my personal collection of Sony music cd's predates this and to my knowledge, I was never personally bitten. Yes, I've had drive failures, but none recently.
