Isn't a second hd in the CD-tray a better option? You have the
choice to configure:
Raid or
2nd data store or
install another os or
create a video pool or
copy whatever you want to boot on it or
use it just as a backup medium or
install as much as the capa admits ISO-Images on it or
....
