Greetings,

Frequently when I run a command in a terminal window (Debian 8.1 Xfce) I get a bunch of errors.

/bin/bash: _parse_usage: line 16: syntax error near unexpected token `('
/bin/bash: _parse_usage: line 16: ` -?(\[)+([a-zA-Z0-9?]))'
/bin/bash: error importing function definition for `_parse_usage'
/bin/bash: _longopt: line 14: syntax error near unexpected token `('
/bin/bash: _longopt: line 14: ` --+([-a-z0-9_]))'
/bin/bash: error importing function definition for `_longopt'

I have googled these and have not been able to find anything that tells how to fix the problem. Does anybody have any info on how to get rid of these?

Many TIA!
Dennis
