Great. That's what I did. './configure' ran well, but, then:
# make install

I don't see a plain, old 'make' step in modules/alsa-driver/INSTALL.
Was it an oversight that the instructions say to only do:
./configure
make install
Usually, you do:
./configure
make
make install
