Agreed. I remember having a 100M /boot partition which was always
running out of space if I didn't remove old kernels manually. Nowadays I
don't bother with /boot because modern kernels can handle booting from a
RAID array with the kernel anywhere on the array.
The peace of mind is worth a not having to worry about running out of space.
