No annoyance at all :) Vaguely--I think the commands you describe relate to displaying the modules and setting them up to be used/recognized? My question is probably more along the lines of where do I get these? Do I have to find source and compile/make these? Do they work with 2.2 kernels? Am I better off with 2.4? etc. But danke for the info! Lynn
