I really don't know enough, but I don't think you need the /dev/sdb2 in
front of the UUID number.

I have one like this and in /etc/fstab have written it like this:
UUID=94f31987-a06d-4a1b-ab08-3e225b677e25 /mnt/storage1 ext4
rw,user,noauto 0        0

Note: I also have a /mnt/storage1 entry to mount it.

That works.

Sorry I can't help you more.

Connect it and try as root # blkid and make certain you have the
numbers correctly recorded.
