is it possible to use PPAs in debian? how do I go about doing this ?
Debian does not (yet) have anything like a PPA.
And using Ubuntus PPAs in Debian is a bad idea, won't work half the time
and will wreck your system the other.
I've routinely used webupd8 ppa for Oracle Java installs. This is
specific to Debian however. I have used this for several years, no problem.
