What does it mean sysfs path '/sys' is invalid?

do you have in /etc/fstab the line

sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0

cheers,

No such line in /etc/fstab. However, a line similar to above is in /etc/mtab. (The defaults are not there. All of the options are spelled out.)

 sysfs /sys sysfs rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime 0 0

Should I add it explicitly to fstab?
