Thanks for the hint with pavucontrol.

Unfortunateley, pavucontrol shows in the profile selection menue the
HDMI Output always as "unplugged":

"Digital Stereo (HDMI) Output (unplugged)"

And also the corresponding output device:

"HDMI / DisplayPort (unplugged)"

Also the sink list shows the device as "available: no". I gues that is
the problem. How could I get the HDMI Output recognized as "plugged
in", what it really is? (With Ubuntu 14.10 it works)
