This worked for me:

1. Download the Utopic version of photivo from

    http://ppa.launchpad.net/dhor/myway/ubuntu/pool/main/p/photivo/

2. You will need libjpeg8. It is not in Jessie so get the instable
   version.

3. Install libjpeg8 with 'dpkg -i package.deb'

4. Install photivo with 'dpkg -i package.deb'

5. Run 'apt-get -f install'.
