Hi John, Have some patience. It has only been three hours since your first message. That is way too soon to be posting it again. Most of the list won't have read it yet. People will only respond if they have something to say about it.
Also note that Mint is not Debian. Please post Mint questions to a Mint mailing list. This mailing list is for discussion of Debian. I see that you are using a gmail.com address. If you posted again thinking that you didn't see your message back from the mailing list that is because Gmail is broken and doesn't show you your own messages until and unless someone replies to it. This is a Gmail FAQ. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=6588&topic=1668979 Messages sent to mailing lists don't show in my inbox When you send a message to any mailing list you subscribe to, Gmail automatically skips your inbox and archives the message to save you time and prevent clutter. The message will appear in your inbox if someone responds to it or if there is an error delivering the message. If you'd like to view your message, you can find it in Sent Mail or All Mail. Here is another good reference for mailing lists. http://www.list.org/mailman-member/node25.html Hope that helps, Bob
