check if kernel module is loaded with lsmod eg. lsmod |grep snd_hda_intel if yes, probably you miss the 'model' extra option somewhere in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf (or whatever) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
